UPON REFLECTION (2007)

Her largest exhibit to date, Salmanson's “Upon Reflection”, expounds on her prior visual language while expanding her use of it. Meticulous stainless steel sculptures house and playfully direct brightly colored LEDs. Diversifying in form, the work varies from wall pieces to columns to free standing sculpture. The narrative unveiled is consistently focused on setting a stage in which light and setting interact in ways distinct to a world created by Carol Salmanson.
