Bio/Exhibition History

In July of '05, Mark Andreas had his first exhibit at Dam, Stuhltrager Gallery with SEED SPEADER and was immediately picked up for his first museum exhibit at the CAC in North Adams, MA. Andreas followed SEED SPREADER's success by developing more of his self titled, "Reactive Sculpture Series". Borrowing from extensive experience as a metalsmith and working on the boats of Connecticut's shores, Andreas' work has informed and refine technical skill/physical craftsmanship inherent. It is only after seeing the young artist perform with his creations that one realizes this work came from a man who just entered his thirties.
