Last December at -scopeMiami, Brose Partington's debut with Dam, Stuhltrager garnered rave reviews. A mere two months later, this 27yr old newcomer from Indianapolis is chosen as the solo artist for the entire entrance and exit of -scopeNewYork at Lincoln Center.
Brose Partington and Dam, Stuhltrager are giddy to unveil "Tide"... This installation of black robotic ocean waves spanning 150ft in length is just too big to keep secret any longer.

Two galleries! One truly deserving artist!
Dam, Stuhltrager is proud to support Michael Schall's current exhibit with one of Williamsburg's art pioneers, Pierogi. Ingeniously paired with Jonathan Schipper for at their Brooklyn gallery through mid-March, Pierogi will also be showcasing Michael's meticulous graphite drawings at Armory.
After traveling to upcoming residencies programs in Vermont and Connecticut, Michael Schall returns home to Dam, Stuhltrager for his exhibit this coming September. |

Snakes On Planes (And In Museums...)

Flew to Miami.
Then hopped a jet to Istanbul.
Fresh from landing on the tarmac in New York, Ruth Marshall's 68 knit coral snake pelts are all currently on view at the Museum of Art and & Design (MAD Museum) in New York.
Marshall's textile was selected as the image for the print campaign advertising this stellar exhibit. The show, "Radical Lace and Subversive Knitting" curated by David McFadden runs through June 17th then jumps a plane and travels on.

| The Grass Is Always Green... |

The grass is always green in a robotic installation. One year ago, Ryan Wolfe was Dam, Stuhltrager's featured artist at -scope New York. Installations in Chicago, Indianapolis, Hamptons, Newark, Miami and a massive 50 ft installation in Istanbul followed back to back to back.
Wolfe's fast track to museums has been covered by Artnet, The NY Observer, The Brooklyn Rail, Artinfo, NYArts, The Indy Star, and Turkish Daily News among others in over two dozen articles over the last twelve months. (Read press online.)
Wolfe's "Field of Grass" currently is on view at the Randall Scott Gallery in Washington, DC through March 17. On March 18, Wolfe's exhibit opens at Nassauischer Kunstverein in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Loren Munk maps the art world in paintings. The art world responds by recording Munk's paintings... Last October, Loren Munk premiered a new series of paintings with Dam, Stuhltrager simultaneously in Brooklyn and Madrid. Covered extensively on both continents, Munk was featured in the Village Voice, the Daily Constitutional, Artinfo, NYArts as well as El Mundo, Le Netro, Diario ADN and LaVanguardia among others. Munk's paintings caught attention of critics, publishers and curators. Rupert Ravens Contemporary commissioned a series of limited edition prints that are currently being hand embellished by the artist and prepared for official release. As well, Munk is exhibiting FSU Museum in Tallahassee, Florida in the exhibit, "'More is More' - Maximalist Painting" curated by Dr. Tatiana Flores through March 25th.
